Having A Stroke

This AI-generated "FAST of a stroke" infographic gets the key points right: face drooping, arm weakness, speech difficulty, and time to call emergency. But it also reveals some of the weaknesses of current AI models. Instead of a weak arm, we get an extra arm sprouting; we get a temporary gender change; and we get a strange "clockphone" (perhaps since the AI model associated "time" in a more chronometric sense than was intended by the actual guidance). One could almost say that the AI itself had a stroke while generating the image; but still, the image could raise awareness and save lives (for instance, I personally had not known the FAST acronym before). This makes the picture strangely successful despite its flaws; certainly worthwhile to remember and to be shared here.
